I talk about 5th grade a lot. Except, only the part about how I got better at math.

I never talk about how everybody tried to only stay friends with people they already knew. Everybody thought Bower was hot. (eww, seriously?) How everybody was convinced that since we were in middle school we were suddenly cooler, even though we weren’t. Guidance kept trying to but into peoples conversations at lunch, while they stared at you awkwardly and hunted down people who didn’t pay lunch loans. How we all thought it was amazing that they sold “fresh baked” (half uncooked) cookies at lunch. We all were convinced that a certain teacher was doing drugs even though none of us had her yet. We were excited for gym class and switching for Science, “Take out your scienceeeeee logs!”. How some of us got lockers and everybody else was jealous, even though there was no point in having them. Chocolate was given to a certain class before math tests. Pioneer day was the most exciting thing that happened to us, ever. Especially because we ended up being the last class to do it, even if our wagons fell apart and we all were overly competitive about the “Pioneer games”.

5th grade was a pretty good year, now that I think about it.

you forgot to mention you getting punched in the face.

true. that happened to.

Also:

We went to Greenkill. It was kind of Terrible. AND THEN A CERTAIN TOOLFACE PUNCHED ME IN THE NOSE. and it was a guy.

So yeah.

Greenkill was kind of cool at some parts.

And that is undoubtedly my favorite story EVER.
