The Tragic Ending
I have finished the book and am overall happy with it. I liked how the sequence of the events in the book was told. It began with how OJ felt multiple years after the murder and flashed back to the day that him and Nicole first met.
In the final chapters of the book, OJ hypothetically described how he would have committed the murders of Nicole and Ron Goldman if he were the person responsible. He also told what most likely would have set him off and caused him to stab his ex-wife and Goldman, which in his hypothetical story was a friend of hers, Charlie, telling him about a trip Nicole took with a couple of friends that involved an excessive use of alcohol and drugs.
Many of these events that OJ described in his book have been inaccurately described by the press. Therefore, this has caused people to base their beliefs of OJ’s innocence or guilt on false information, which has contributed to large controversy about this case. After reading this book, I have come to believe that OJ Simpson was innocent and was not responsible for the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman.
